Welcome. I’m a USA Today bestselling author and award-winning screenwriter who builds immersive worlds, complex characters, and stories that refuse to fade once the final page is turned.

With more than two decades in publishing, editing, and narrative development, I’ve ghostwritten and edited over 65 novels and dozens of short stories for authors and publishers including Disney Hyperion, Tor, and Avon. My work spans genres and formats, from dark fantasy and science fiction to romance, suspense, and horror.

Beyond writing, I teach creative writing at multiple universities and regularly mentor emerging authors. My background also includes leading large-scale publishing projects, managing international editorial teams, and championing diverse voices across genres and platforms.

When I step away from the page, you’ll usually find me outdoors. Camping under open skies, hiking quiet trails, or reading by firelight. I live in Washington state with my two children and a blue heeler who believes personal space is a myth.
