Welcome! Thanks for stopping by! I am a USA Today bestselling author and award-winning screenwriter who loves crafting vivid worlds, memorable characters, and stories that linger long after the last page.

With over 20 years in publishing, editing, and storytelling, I’ve ghostwritten and edited more than 65 novels and dozens of short stories for authors at publishers like Disney Hyperion, Tor, and Avon.

In addition to writing, I currently teach creative writing at two major universities and my local community college. In the past, I’ve managed an international online publishing division, led large-scale publishing projects, and championed diverse voices across genres—from sci-fi and fantasy to horror, romance, and everything in between.

When I’m not at my desk, you’ll probably find me out in nature—camping under the stars, exploring new trails, or curled up with a good book by the campfire.

I live in Washington state with two children and blue heeler.
